Andris Cukurs

Andris “Andy” Cukurs joins Boulder Wind Power from Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation where he was CEO for over 7 years and led Suzlon’s entry into North America as well as the deployment and support of over 2,500 megawatts of wind turbines.   Prior to Suzlon, Cukurs was CEO of NEG Micon Wind Energy Corporation of North America through its merger into Vestas in 2004.  Cukurs has over 26 years of executive experience focused on commercializing new technologies and scaling operations.

Mr. Cukurs holds both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago – Booth Graduate School of Business.
